How do the technologies of Bryte and Sleep Number beds differ? Both offer real-time air pressure adjustments; however, they work differently. Sleep Number’s Responsive Air® technology senses and automatically adjusts the pressure to maintain your current Sleep Number setting. Bryte’s active pressure relief detects pressure imbalances in real time and silently alleviates them by automatically adjusting the pressure throughout the night. Sleep Number beds have two air chambers, one for each sleeper, while Brye beds have up to 90 Bryte Balancers (air coils) in all bed models, with eight zones for each person. In Bryte PRO models, sleepers can adjust the firmness of individual rows of coils for greater precision in fine-tuning pressure relief and support, especially in areas like your shoulders or lumbar area.
Bryte’s AI-powered Sleep Concierge, available on Pro models, is similar to Sleep Number’s SleepIQ reports in that both provide insights into sleep quality. Sleep Number offers a passive snapshot through metrics such as time in bed, heart rate, breath rate, motion, and a composite SleepIQ score. Bryte, on the other hand, tracks sleep stages and adds the number of times it reduces pressure each night, offering a more dynamic and responsive experience. Bryte’s sleep insights serve as the equivalent of a sleep report, providing a clear summary of nightly metrics. Sleep Concierge builds on that foundation by offering an interactive experience. You can click into it, ask questions about your sleep trends, and receive synthesized data. Sleep Concierge can also recommend and apply firmness changes based on your inquiries about your sleep habits and answer questions about your insights or sleep trends. It not only reports on your sleep, but actively helps you improve it in real time.
Only Bryte offers BryteWaves immersive relaxation to help you fall asleep and Silent Wake, an alarm that wakes you with silent motion on your side of the bed, without disturbing your partner.
