Bryte is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) location best suited to be at thePittsburgh PA location however due to the nature of travel required this position will be considered for remote location as optional. The TPM will have complete and overall responsibility for managing equipment development timeline, execution, qualification, training and delivery.

The TPM will have a strong technical understanding in process, equipment design, automation, machine fabrication and build process.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate equipment vendor selection, quoting, proof of concept development, program management to meet critical delivery timeline.
  • Drive where needed, internal teams all required supporting elements, specifications and technical details to execute the job.
  • Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the organization
  • Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives
  • Coming up with sustainable goals for the organization
  • Working with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs
  • Evaluating and assessing the programs’ strengths and weaknesses
  • Monitoring projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met
  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
  • Contributing ideas to product development initiatives.
  • Planning and managing product development stages.
  • Collaborating with system engineers and software architects.
  • Reporting product development progress to managers.
  • Ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Overseeing product deployment and integration.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Evaluating product performance metrics and facilitating adjustments.
  • Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Keeping up with advancements in product technologies.

Job qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.
  • +8 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a related industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle of product development.
  • Experience in product development planning and providing leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and report to Bryte managers.
  • Extensive experience in equipment engineering, deployment, and integration.
  • Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in manufacturing equipment and process solutions.
  • Ability to keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in Operations and Supply Chain
  • Cross-functional leadership experience
  • Proven project management and teamwork experience
  • Experience working with and managing external suppliers and manufacturers
  • Problem solving, analytical and communication experience
  • Has previously been responsible for managing new product introductions in consumer electronics or larger form factor end products. Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple work threads to maximize impact

Preferred qualifications

  • Past experience of managing and bringing up of high volume manufacturing equipment design, fabrication and qualification
  • Running a factory with material planning, logistics, production scheduling , employee training and onboarding, quality management, product testing and maintenance experience.
  • Experience working in Program management and PLM tools such as Agile, Arena, Windchill, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets.
  • Scrum master or strong familiarity in how to run scrum events is a plus.
  • Master’s degree, MBA
  • 5+ years of experience in leading development/delivery of multiple high-volume consumer electronics and managing JDM’s with different models of engagement
